DIML:

Day In My Life — Social Photo Sharing App

A social app where one person at a time becomes the “influencer” in a group chat, posting to prompts while others react to unlock content — with the role rotating across members.

How it Works:

DIML is a group-based social app designed to make shared moments feel more intentional and interactive. Instead of everyone posting at once, one person in each group (“circle”) becomes the influencer for a set period of time and responds to prompts, while others react to unlock content. The role then rotates, giving everyone a turn in the spotlight.

In the demo, I show the full end-to-end experience—from logging in and viewing my profile, to navigating the circles I’m part of, responding to prompts, uploading photos, and creating new circles.

I built DIML as a full-stack class project, owning product design, user flows, and technical implementation. I used Cursor as a development tool to accelerate implementation, iterating on generated code to fit specific user flows, design requirements, and app logic. This allowed me to move quickly while still making intentional architectural and UX decisions.

The project focused on experimenting with social mechanics, designing clear state logic (who can post, when content unlocks, and how roles rotate), and refining the experience based on early user feedback.
